Help Us Change a Life

VOlunteers

Volunteering at Campagna:

At Campagna Academy, we recognize that a volunteer is a special kind of donor. Volunteers give their time and talent to help advance the agency's goals. Without volunteer support we could not accomplish our mission of restoring hopes and building dreams of the youth we serve. Currently, Campagna Academy has several volunteering opportunities available:

Event Assistant: Open to male and female volunteers.
Throughout the year, Campagna Academy offers several events that rely upon volunteer participation to make them successful. These events vary, from our "Run for the Roses" walk/run in October, to our vocational fairs in the Spring and Fall.

Educational Mentor: Open to male and female volunteers with a teaching background. Campagna Academy's is looking for Educational Mentors/Tutors to assist our youth with their studies and, ultimately, their self-esteem. The goal of this program is to help students understand their subject material, finish their homework, learn successful study habits, and practice positive relationship skills. The schedule is flexible offering morning or afternoon sessions from one session or four sessions per week. Sessions between the mentor and mentee usually last for one hour, but can vary according to the amount of work that needs to be done.

Requirements for Volunteering:

In order to safeguard the youth in our care, Campagna Academy has certain requirements that all volunteers must meet, including (but not limited to) references, criminal background check, TB test, and confidentiality agreements.
