COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES

INTENSIVE HOME & COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES AT CAMPAGNA ACADEMY

 

Campagna Academy's Intensive Home Based and Community Based Services are designed for children with behavioral or emotional problems that have begun to transition out of a more secured placement and back into their home/community. These services assist with increasing stability or success in the home, school, and community while preventing a return of youth to a more restrictive setting/placement.

 

Services Are Designed To:
- Reduce reliance on secure confinement
- Provide clinical care and supervision to youth as they are discharged from a
  
more restrictive placement
- Provide an alternative choice instead of a more restrictive setting
- Improve public safety
- Empower parents
- Identify and strengthen a family's natural support system
- Increase family cooperation and independence
- Assist parents with safety in the home
- Prevent further disruptions in the home

 

Program Specifics:

- A Family Support Team is custom tailored to each child containing a

  Psychiatrist, Nurse, Master Level Therapist, Case Manager, and Vocational

  Counselor. Teams may also contain Occupational Therapist or Recreational

  Therapist based on the child's needs

- Individual and Family Therapy utilizing components of Multisystemic and

  Brief Strategic Family Therapy

- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) 
- Medical and medication management training for parents
- Life skills training using The Ansell Casey Life Skills Assessment for youth 8 years
 
and older to customize the best learning style and plan for each child
- Educational tutoring
- Vocational counseling
- 24 hour/7 day a week emergency crisis response
- Services are also available in Spanish
